El Ayuntamiento de Parla convoca 20 nuevas plazas de agente local para reforzar su plantilla de Policía Local

The Parla City Council, through the Department of Human Resources, has announced 20 new positions for Local Police agents. Included in the Public Employment Offers of 2025 and previous years, 16 of these positions will be filled through a competitive examination process, while the remaining four will be filled through a mobility system without promotion.

The application and required documentation can be submitted until June 18th, using the standardized form available at the SAC Offices or through the Electronic Headquarters. All information is accessible in the Public Employment section of the Parla City Council’s Electronic Headquarters.

Parla focuses on classic theater this weekend

The BOE No. 122 of May 21, 2025 (reference BOE-A-2025-10035) includes the publication of sixteen positions for Police Officers of the Local Police Force, belonging to the Special Administration scale, special services sub-scale, Local Police and their assistants class, through a competitive examination process in open competition.

The same official publication also announces the recruitment of four positions for Police Officers of the Local Police Force, belonging to the Special Administration scale, special services sub-scale, Local Police and their assistants class, through a competition system in a mobility process.

These positions are part of the Public Employment Offers of the Parla City Council for the years 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, reinforcing the commitment of this municipality and its Government team to public employment and to strengthen, as we have been doing since 2019, citizen security in compliance with our commitment to enhance such an important and essential service,» emphasized the Councilor for Human Resources, Andrés Correa Barbado, before adding: «A reinforcement that we are carrying out not only in terms of human resources, but also in all aspects related to material resources, from equipment to vehicles.»

Requirements to apply for the positions

  • Being of Spanish nationality.
  • Being eighteen years of age.
    Holding the academic qualification of Baccalaureate, Technician, or equivalent, issued in accordance with the current legislation.
  • If obtained abroad, having the corresponding validation or credential demonstrating equivalence.
  • Meeting the physical and mental requirements to perform the duties adequately.
  • Having no disciplinary record, no absolute or special disqualification for public employment or positions by judicial resolution.
  • Lack of criminal records.
  • Holding a Class B driver’s license or equivalent.
  • Commitment to carry and use weapons as required by law through a sworn statement or pledge.
  • Certifying not having been convicted by final judgment for any sexual offenses or crimes of human trafficking as specified in the Criminal Code.

Regarding the requirements for applicants for mobility promotion positions, they are as follows:

  • Being in active service or special services status in the Police category.
  • Being a career civil servant in the Police category of any Local Police Force in the Community of Madrid with a minimum of three years of service and a minimum of five years remaining before transitioning to second activity status.
  • Having served in the municipality where the mobility position was obtained for at least five years if previously acquired through a mobility system.
  • Holding a Baccalaureate or equivalent academic qualification issued in accordance with current legislation.
  • Having a Class B driver’s license or equivalent.
  • Meeting the physical and mental requirements to be considered fit to perform the corresponding functions.
  • Not being in a situation of separation due to disciplinary proceedings from any Public Administrations or constitutional or statutory bodies of the Autonomous Communities, or being disqualified for public employment or positions by judicial resolution for access to the body or scale of public function where the separation or disqualification occurred.
  • Meeting all other requirements for the position to be filled.

* Obtaining a mobility position in the Municipal Police Force of the Parla City Council entails a minimum five-year stay in said municipality.
