Parla, May 13, 2025 – The City Council of Parla has opened registration to participate in the Stock Fair. The campaign, promoted by the Center for Business Initiatives, is celebrating its tenth edition. It will take place on Sunday, June 1st in Plaza de la Guardia Civil. As in previous editions, to ensure that visitors enjoy the products and services of the participating establishments and entertainment, there will be parades, games, and children’s shows. Local businesses interested in setting up their booth at the Faircan register until May 23rd.
Tenth edition of the Stock Fair, with activities for children and families
The number ten marks this spring the edition of one of the most successful campaigns among local businesses in Parla, the Stock Fair. The City Council, through the Center for Business Initiatives, is once again celebrating it to invite citizens to shop for services and products, and to get to know the stores in all sectors of Parla.
This is one of the objectives, along with providing establishments in Parla with a space to optimize the sale of accumulated products and services. And to encourage visits to their booths, the City Council will offer activities during the Fair such as booths with traditional children’s games, parades in the morning and afternoon, a fun family photo booth, and children’s shows «Feet for why I want you», «Fly» and «Get on, I’ll take you».

The 10th Stock Fair will take place on Sunday, June 1st, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Plaza de la Guardia Civil. As explained by the Councilor for Commerce, Gema García Torres, «depending on the number of merchants who register, it will also be held in the surrounding areas».
«I encourage all businesses to take a look at the Guidelines and those who meet the requirements, to sign up. This way, they will have the opportunity, not only to sell their products and services, but also to make themselves known to the public,» said Gema García Torres.
The Councilor for Commerce also stated that «neighbors will be able to see first-hand that in the local commerce of Parla, they can find all kinds of products and services. The Fair will be accompanied by street entertainment shows throughout the day for the whole family. And so we can enjoy a day where the center of Parla will be filled with life. The deadline to register is until May 23rd».
Establishments that meet the following obligations can register:
- Be the owner, legal representative, partner, administrator, or person with sufficient power to represent the business, from any sector, except for hospitality – for which other campaigns are held, such as the recent Tapas Parla-.
- If it is an establishment with a storefront open to the public, it is necessary for said establishment to be located in Parla and have the corresponding municipal license valid.
- If it is an online business, the legal address must be in Parla.
- Only active businesses are allowed to participate. Businesses expressly created for participation in the fair will not be allowed.
- Comply with and keep the advertising and signage regarding the campaign provided by the CIE up to date during the campaign.
- Collect the campaign advertising at the location indicated by the CIE.
- Fill out and sign the registration form.
- Accept the Participation Guidelines.
