From July 2nd to 11th, the Parla City Council offers several free sessions to help the elderly residents of the city improve their use of mobile devices, Internet, and computers. How to use apps to navigate cities and public transportation, or how to identify fraudulent messages and scams, are some of the topics covered in these free courses.
Digitalization courses for seniors from July 2nd to 11th
What are the pitfalls of the Internet? How to navigate without falling victim to scams, deceptive messages, and fraud? What apps are available to learn about public transportation and how to get around the Community of Madrid? How are they used?
These questions and doubts will be addressed by the two free courses offered by the Parla City Council, from July 2nd to 11th, through the Department of Seniors, to the users of senior centers.
The training sessions are part of the digital classroom offer from the Community of Madrid, funded through the European Union as part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan of the Government of Spain.
To teach people over 60 how to use the Internet to travel safely
